How to export a gradient as SVG
Save a flat colour, linear, radial, conic or layered design in a self-contained file that scales cleanly in modern browsers.
Create a gradient SVGDesign the gradient at the right aspect ratio
Choose landscape, square, portrait or classic before exporting. The SVG viewBox uses those canvas dimensions, so the composition retains the same proportions at any displayed size.
Choose Download SVG
The SVG option sits with the PNG and JPG downloads above the code panel. It packages the current gradients, transparent stops, text and layer order into one downloadable document.
Keep uploaded artwork self-contained
If the composition includes uploaded SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP artwork, Love Gradients embeds that source inside the export. Moving the SVG will not break a link to a file on your computer.
Choose the format for the destination
Use SVG for responsive websites and browser-based output that must scale cleanly. Use PNG for broad design-app compatibility and transparent raster output, or JPG for a smaller opaque image.
Layered and conic exports use browser-rendered CSS inside the SVG to preserve the exact result. Some traditional illustration applications have limited support for that technique, so check the file in its final destination.
